Get Zoe on your desktop!

Can't get enough of Zoe Anna Margarete Watts? Well, how about putting me right on your Windows desktop:

Here's how:

  1. Right click on a blank space on the Windows desktop and click Properties
  2. Click the Desktop tab

  3. Click the Customize Desktop button.
  4. Click the Web tab

  5. Click the New button. The New Desktop Item window appears:

  6. In the Location field, type in http://zoewatts.com/desktop.html and click OK.
  7. Click OK when you see this confirmation window:

  8. Some synchronization windows will appear then automatically close. You will then see the new item added:

  9. Verify there is a check mark next to the new item (see the image above).
  10. If there is an old entry named http://wattsworld.com/rapunzel/desktop.html, then select it and click Delete.
  11. Click the Properties button.
  12. Click the Schedule tab.

  13. If you previously had a Zoe Desktop then you probably already have a schedule created (for example, the "9am daily" as listed above). If so, click the check box next to it and click OK Go to step 16.
  14. Click Add.

  15. Type in a time of day when you want an update (such as 8am) and type in a name for the schedule (the name can be anything you like). Click OK.
  16. Click OK several times to close all the windows.
  17. Minimize all the windows and you'll see your new Zoe window:

  18. You can now make the window smaller by dragging a corner or side just like a normal window.
  19. You can move the window by moving the cursor to the top of the window. After a short delay, a title bar appears that you can click and drag to move the window.

  20. That's it. If you ever close the window by mistake (by clicking the X in the above title bar), you can get it back by repeating steps 1-4, add a checkmark back next to http://zoewatts.com/desktop.html and clicking OK to close all the window.

Zoe and her staff took most of the photos and wrote most of the text. So there.
